To anyone who thinks that Diamond Crew Clothing is only about pushing out Fresh Clothes, you would only be HALF right. Even before we were drawing lines we were letting the culture, music & art, that is so rich here in Cali, influence us. Diamond Crew is ALL about giving back to those who gave to us, and for the most part those people came out of the Gold Era of Hip Hop. Were Tribe and Pharcyde ruled our headphones and “Bombin” & “Taggin” was more then graffiti it was Art. Most would say that Hip Hop is DEAD, but in a small corner of Middle America, in Minneapolis, the heart of Hip Hop is still beating in the coldness of Winter. For those of you who haven’t heard of Doomtree or Rhyme Sayers I would suggest you familiarize yourselves. In an age of microwave instant Rap, of which most is Basura Solemente, Doomtree is a much needed Breath of Fresh Air. Associated with Artist like P.O.S., Sims, Mike Mictlan, and even Atmosphere Brother Ali and Murs, Doomtree & Rhyme Sayers are staying true to the Pure Essence of Hip Hop. This Week Diamond Crew Clothing got together with Doomtree @ The Knitting Factory in Hollywood , CA for their “Never Better Tour“ .It was a dope event if you weren’t fortunate to make it out, keep your eyes and ears to the street to see when Doomtree comes back to Cali.
