Truck Stop…
Tuesday, September 21st, 2010The truck phenomenon is HUGE! Everywhere you go in So Cal there are these awesome trucks that serve up some amazing grub. They’re like Gastro Pubs on wheels. But the innovator of it all has to be the Kogi Truck. Serving up Latin-Asian fusion tacos too seasonal specials like Kimchi Pastrami sandwiches. To quote a kid in line, “Kogi truck is dot.com!” So this past Saturday night Me, Billy the Kid, Kopac & Diana went down to get ourselves a couple short rib & spicy pork tacos before we hit the town.

This Ones for Chris!
Saturday, September 18th, 2010Chris, or better known as DC SG aka Dcrew Sg, was the inspiration behind me making this limited edition tee. Last year I took a trip down to Fairfax Ave in LA. For those of you who don’t know, the Fairfax area is the holy grail of streetwear on the western hemisphere. The Hundreds, Supreme, Undefeated, Stussy, Factory 413, Flight Club, KR3W, HUF are just a few of the elite streetwear monsters in that area. So after spending the day, talking to some of my favorite lifestyle brands & peers in the industry I was inspired to do something that was pure, raw D.CREW. I know that my personality almost always screams threw our art and designs, so I wanted to switch it up a little & pay homage to the man that started this whole insane ride with me 2 years ago. If any of you follow Sg onTwitter or FB you get the joke. For those of you who don’t let’s just say that Sg saying the words “Epic Fail” often is a gross understatement. So in the theme of the tee, “Be Smart and Wear Diamond Crew”, but if you find yourself being an “Epic Fail” once in a while just laugh it off.

A Paseo for You Thoughts
Thursday, September 16th, 2010So our buddy Allen in Seattle kept telling us about this little sandwich shop that kept getting rave reviews and that was never short of a crowd. We’ve never been big on hype, so we had to check it out ourselves & see how amazing a sandwich really could be. So as soon as we landed in Seattle, we dropped of our bags and headed to Paseo’s. THE HYPE DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE! I don’t know if there is any way I can truly do it justice by even trying to explain it. All I can say is that you have to try it yourself. It was so good, we went to their only other location 2 days later cause we couldn’t stop talking about it. Hope you enjoy the pics from both Paseo’s Sandwich Shops.
