I was first introduced to the Toy Bombs at an event hosted by High Voltage Magazine. This band has energy that rivals Angus Young from AC/DC and a sound that is reminiscent of the early Rolling Stones. Brandon McBride and Cole Barnson literally drop a nuclear bomb of rock on their audiences with songs like We’re All Just Little Children and Wrecking Ball. Before their Salt Lake City show the Toy Bombs were kind enough to sit down with me. Keep an eye out for them exploding in a city near you on their upcoming tour.
Last night Alexander Smith, Jay Ward and Myself got V.I.P. invites to The Hundreds x Garfield gallery opening. We had a little lasagna, some drinks and got to meet and pick the brains of one of our biggest childhood idols growing up, the creator of Garfield, Mr. Jim Davis. Paul went to New York to hit the streets and spend time in the studio with one of his idols, hip-hop legend NAS.
