Paul went to New York to hit the streets and spend time in the studio with one of his idols, hip-hop legend NAS. The result is a 60-second commercial, directed by Nike SB’s own Jon Humphries, following Paul’s journey through iconic New York City skate spots, accompanied by music from Nas and two interviews. Who can actually doubt Nike’s advertising campaigns? They’re the ones that brought us from Lil’ Penny, Bo Knows, Just Do It, Livestrong, Witness to the MVP Puppets of this Years NBA Playoffs. And now they’re Using there Marketing Genius and Deep Pockets to Push their Premier Nike SB Super Star Paul Rodriguez Jr. Most of you probably know P. Rod from his famed father, Comedian Paul Rodriguez, or maybe from his signature Nike SB collection. But NOW your going to know Paul for one more reason, working Hip Hop heavy weight Ice Cube. Don’t worry P. Rod isn’t giving up his day job to spit on wax, Ice Cube and Rodriguez will be working on a New Nike SB Ad Campaign. Cube has a cameo appearance in the new Nike SB ad called “Today Was a Good Day” which of course uses Cube’s hit single as well and features Nike SB skater Paul Rodriguez.
